FAQ

What genres of photography do you do?

I cover: engagement, wedding, maternity, family, senior, headshot portraits. I also do events of all kinds.

How do I book my wedding or photoshoot?

How far out should I schedule my wedding/session?

As soon as possible, especially if you need a particular date or have limited availability. I schedule throughout the year, and certain times of year I am quite busy and have a wait list.

How many photos will I receive from my session?

Each session is unique so it is challenging to say how many photos you will receive. Generally speaking, I deliver 5 photos for 30min sessions, 15 photos for 1hr sessions . Weddings are different and, depending on length, generate hundreds of photos.

What is your turn around time?

The entire turn around time can take up to 2 weeks, depending on the time of the year. Weddings can take up to 8 weeks.

What time of day is best for my session?

The best time for your session depends on the time of year and location. I prefer to do sessions in the early morning or late afternoon, usually avoiding midday. Give me a call and we'll discuss the best time of day for your session.

What is a digital file?

Digital files are the digital versions of your photos. You can post them on social media, have them printed or make an album. You’re only limited by your imagination. Any digital file purchased from us is high-resolution and comes with a print release. I recommend backing up digital files purchased to an external hard drive, flash drive and/or to the cloud. If you would like me to send you a flash drive of your digital files, the fee is $50.

What is required to hold a date?

A $50 nonrefundable retainer for portrait sessions and $250 for weddings and a signed contract holds your date.

Do we travel for weddings and sessions?

For weddings I travel up to 60 miles from Montgomery, IL. All other sessions, I travel within 20 miles from Montgomery, IL. There will be a travel fee of $.60 per mile if the location is outside the area.

What forms of payment do we accept?

I accept cash, checks, all major credit cards, Paypal, Zelle, and Venmo.
